Poor Brian actually thought it would be a good idea to try to "keep up" with the leaves. Saturday he "raked" with his blower, our back yard. Five minutes after he had done all of this work, the yard was covered in leaves again. Madison and Annie did enjoy the pile of leaves that Daddy made for them. Much to my surprise Madison didn't try to put any of the leaves in her mouth, she just tried to cover Annie in them. She has been in the best mood this past week. She has been such a joy, I love this age. She smiles and laughs all of the time. She is pulling up on things and is thinking about cruising. She will take a few steps and forget that she has to hold on to whatever she is walking around and she ends up falling. Then the whole process starts over again. We had a good weekend. Saturday morning we did the Strong L
egs Run with a bunch of Mommy's work friends. We came home and played in the leaves while Daddy raked. Then our neighbors, Derek, Chenin, and their son Hatcher came over to watch the game. Maddie and Hatcher had such a great time. Madison tried to use Hatcher as a prop to stand up on and he quickly learned to crawl away from her when he saw her coming. This was the last weekend for Mommy's crazy work schedule, YEAH!!!!! We hope everyone has a great week!
