To Charleston we go
We made a trip to Charleston this past weekend to visit Kim, Chris, and Emerson. As always we had such a good time. We went to the pool (for 5 minutes before a storm cloud came) and got to take the boat on out on the river. Madison of course loved the boat, but the babies weren't so keen on the apparel they were forced to wear (life jackets). On Friday night, Brian went to a bachelor party and had a great time with the guys. On Saturday night there was a concert in the park across the street from Kim and Chris's house. We sat out and listened to the music. One of their friends little girl came and Madison had a blast playing with her. I can't believe that the babies are almost a year old. How did that happen so fast? Unfortunately, we are going to miss Emerson's birthday, so we threw one of our own for her. Madison patiently waited all weekend for the birthday party. Emerson was so cute chowing down on her little cupcake. Thank you Kim and Chris for your hospitality. We had a wonderful time and miss you guys already.

Nice pictures, Mandy. We had a great time with you guys this weekend. Thank you for Emerson's birthday party- I think it was a good way to stretch out the first birthday celebration for her.
Great pictures! I am sure it was fun - Carter and emerson are getting so big - and those eyes -who would not kill for emerson's eyes! Watch out Chris -she's a cutie!
