We have had a great day today. We made our debut trip to the boat on Lake Lanier. We took Madison last year and she was too little to enjoy it. The life jacket is the biggest problem. You can see below Madison is less than thrilled about having to wear it and I would be too. The jacket looks so uncomfortable. I thought that it would be a much bigger struggle to get her to wear it but she did ok. She loved when we were riding in the boat. She would try so hard to smile while trying to fight the wind and she kept saying "boat, boat". We had lunch at the marina and went out and anchored for about an hour. Madison loved it and had a great time. She wanted to sit with Daddy and help him drive the boat. She loved to try to steer and push the buttons. We can't wait to go back!
